Hidra kindergarten
Coastal experiences and sweet temptations from the garden
Hidra kindergarten is a municipal kindergarten, with two departments and room for 29 children. Here the children will get to experience coastal life, as the nursery has a unique location in the middle of the beautiful island of Hidra outside Flekkefjord.
The nursery was completed in 2014 and has a playground, an upgraded pier area and its own forest playground. Here everything is in place for activities related to the sea and boating and exploration of our forest throughout all seasons. We also have an abundant fruit and vegetable garden, with plum trees, apple trees, pear trees and currant bushes.
