Nursing students - look here!

Are you, or will you soon be, a nursing student? Do you want to gain good experience during your studies? Then you should read on!

We now need more nursing students in student positions, and are looking for you who are starting or have started the education course to become a nurse. We hope you will apply for a position at our department!

Medical inpatient service Flekkefjord is a general internal medicine department with patients within the specialist groups of stroke, palliative care, gastro, lung, heart and geriatrics. In addition, we collaborate with surgical bed post at weekends, public holidays and holidays. 

As a nursing student in a student position with us, you will get many educational and exciting tasks, and relevant experience that you will benefit from when you finish your studies.

The positions advertised are currently 20 %, and in rotation with work every third weekend and two extra weekends a year.

Current candidates are employed on an ongoing basis. 

We ask all employees to attach documentation of education, certificates of work experience and any specialist approvals. This is to document qualifications that appear in CVs, and for salary determination.

Work assignments

• Observation and treatment of patients with internal medicine diseases and problems.
• Care and nursing of patients.
• Practical work in the kitchen, washing room and other incidental work. 
• Communication with the patient, relatives and the municipal health service.
• Collaboration with other professional groups such as physiotherapists, occupational therapists, doctors, nurses and health professionals.

Qualifications

• Student nurse in education.
• Good basic ICT skills.
