Student position/weekend position - Health and welfare

We are looking for you who are on your way to becoming, or are a trained healthcare worker,
nurse or social worker.
As an employee with us, you work in the unit for nursing homes, the unit for
home services, the unit for habilitation or the health and life management unit.
You can come up with a wish about where you would prefer to work. Do we have vacancies in
units other than the one(s) you prefer, you may be offered employment there.

Unit for home services 

In home care, we have combined the health professional expertise and the nursing expertise in our own departments. The goal is the right competence in the right place
at the right time. To be able to work in home nursing, you must have a driving licence.
Sundegt 41, Sundeheimen and Hidra Omsorgssenter also sort under
the home service, and here we have permanent staff.
In the unit for home services, you are involved and give both young and old the opportunity
to be able to live at home, despite his health challenges.

Unit for habilitation

In the Habilitation Unit, we have a good professional environment with different subject and college expertise. In Flekkefjord municipality, we offer flexible working time arrangements in permanent jobs and large positions.
- We focus on positive behavior support (PAS) as a framework and value base for the environmental therapeutic work. It is a service with many departments and a great variety of tasks
There are 9 departments, where there are users who live at home and in private homes.
It is crucial to master, own and feel independence in your own life, whether you have a disability or not.
In the Habilitation unit, we help people with various forms of functional impairment with that. We have users who live in housing associations and in private homes.
In the student/weekend positions, we hire assistants who can join and contribute to the everyday life of our users.

Unit for nursing homes
Here we have exciting and varied tasks.
We have pooled healthcare worker expertise and nursing expertise in our own teams. With the aim of having the right expertise in the right place at the right time. For the elderly and their relatives, little is as important as that old age is also filled with meaning and good experiences!
If you work at Tjørsvågheimen, in the unit for nursing homes, you help facilitate that. The nursing home has six wards for 12-18 patients, and is a joy of life nursing home with a focus on care that suits the individual. The individual employee gets exciting and varied tasks, for people with very different and varied assistance needs. It will make great demands on professional qualifications, good attitudes and abilities.  

Unit for health and life management

Mental health and addiction care provides services to people who experience challenges with addiction and/or mental health problems and who need a comprehensive offer. The department provides health services both to those who live in shared flats, as well as those living at home. The department currently has 21.8 full-time equivalents with 26 excellent employees. Most of the employees have a working time arrangement with 14-hour shifts day/evening, as well as 10-hour shifts at night. We offer a good working community with exciting and varied tasks for people with different functional levels and varying needs for help. 

Qualifications

• Studying to become a healthcare worker or social worker/nurse (or have completed these studies)
• Has good Norwegian skills, both orally and in writing
• Has previous experience from working life (therefore provide references)
• Have a valid police certificate
• Have a license for a car with a manual transmission - if it is the home services unit you want to be employed in
