Søyland school

Søyland school is beautifully located in rural surroundings, approx. 1 kilometer outside the center of Flekkefjord. With such beautiful surroundings, there is an opportunity to have outdoor school, go on summit hikes or forest hikes! In 2022, the school got a new great local environment facility, with, among other things, artificial turf, trampolines and a running track. The year after (2023), the school also got a climbing wall for anyone who wants to challenge themselves physically, during school time! Here everything is ready for an active and exciting school day!

For several years, the students at Søyland School have run around the Søyland Star to raise money for the cancer cause and the Children's Cancer Association. The reason why this particular school gets so involved has a sad explanation, but the effort and commitment to help others who are going through a tough situation is admirable. Otherwise, there is a lot of fun and learning on the poster at this rural school: dancing with BlimE, making an insect hotel, company visits, participation in exhibitions and fundraising for causes of the heart.
