Healthy school

As you drive into the center of Flekkefjord, from the E39, Sunde school is located. Here you are greeted by colorful and optimistic street art that covers one side of the school. The work was created in 2022 by Rogaland artist Renate Hermansen Fiskå, from Jørpeland. The artist has had a dialogue with pupils and based on this, the motif emerged. 

- The desire for a large PC where various elements came flying out, meant that I could use more of the submitted contributions and thus give more people the feeling of having contributed to the wall. Leaves and elements of nature, together with a student with a paper crown trying to kiss a slightly frightened bird, give the subject love and warmth in an increasingly digitized world.

At Sunde skole, the focus is on commitment and joy. The students at the school get to take part in exciting and rewarding events, all year round: Friendship Day (UN Day), Girl Tech Fest, BlimE (dance event), Tinestafetten, cleaning up the town during Green Week, and much more. School in the middle of the butter eye!
