Gyland school

Gyland school is ideally located, in the pleasant village of Gyland, approx. 20 kilometers from the center of Flekkefjord. The school focuses on a good school environment. That is why there are important social goals on the weekly schedule each week, so that everyone becomes aware of what gives each individual a good everyday life. Social and physical activities are important tools for creating good experiences for students, while at the same time they can help build bonds between individuals. Gyland school has a morning assembly, working with the class environment, joint projects across the levels, a solidarity party, visits from the Technical Centre, Girl Tech Fest, museum visits, trips, barbecues, ski days, Christmas parties and Christmas workshops. School and home collaborate on activities that promote humor and joy! 

In addition to the school's teaching, students can benefit from local resources and attractions. There are many hiking trails and cycle routes in the area, which provide opportunities for physical activity and exploration. Gyland also has an active local community, with various events and activities that can enrich pupils' everyday life outside of school hours.
