Hellvik Hus

Who are we?

Hellvik Hus was established in 1947 and is one of the country's oldest prefabricated house manufacturers. Today, we consist of the Hellvik Gruppen group and the Hellvik Hus chain with 30 dealers covering large parts of Norway. We build houses, apartments and cottages in all sizes and styles. We also work with land development, property sales, as well as in the tender market/public tenders. We have project/housing developers, a planning department, sales staff and construction management in-house. In our department in Flekkefjord, we also have a construction warehouse, XL-Bygg, with experienced people who can guide customers regarding interiors. We have kitchen, bathroom and wardrobe departments. 

Competence and development opportunities

In addition to skilled craftsmen, Hellvik Hus has its own engineers, architects and civil engineers. A good working environment is crucial for well-being and quality. We prioritize a positive and collaborative atmosphere. Our employees will have the opportunity to develop within their specialist area via courses and further education. Since we are part of a group where the joint services are not necessarily located in the same office, it is also possible to have new tasks with the Flekkefjord office as a starting point.

Innovation, sustainability and economy

Hellvik Hus always works forward, with innovative, sustainable and economical solutions. This gives our customers both cheaper housing and, not least, housing with a longer lifespan. We have come a long way in digitizing processes and use drawings with 3D models adapted to the plot, where you can also send files directly to a computerized saw!

Environmental lighthouse

In 2021, we were certified as an Environmental Lighthouse. This is something we are proud of and really try to live up to. There are many criteria that must be followed in order to achieve this certification and keep it. We are now working to ensure that all our homes have a minimum energy rating of B. This provides, among other things, access to green loans. Sustainability is also about supporting the local community. We contribute in several ways; by supporting teams and associations with sponsorship. But perhaps primarily through what is our main business focus: "We build sustainable local communities for a good quality of life".
